My Mission: To forge the most reliable, professional, and resilient operators in the Logistics world, by implementing systems built on deep experience and genuine care.
My Vision: To create an ecosystem where business owners and employees equally thrive, drivers feel valued, and operational excellence is the standard. We know from 20 years of experience that a healthy operation doesn't just deliver packages; it delivers on its promise to its people. We don't just advise; we build lasting foundations for Long term success.
My logistics journey started at the tender age of 12 as a poster boy for a local supermarket chain. With locations all over the five boroughs of New York City, this job gave me the privilege of learning and working extensively across the city. I quickly learned how to read a map and navigate efficiently. It also taught me the fundamentals of business, as I began to understand why the manager chose specific blocks for deliveries. Eventually, I was creating my own routes to maximize our efficiency by dissecting which areas responded to the advertisements and which did not. I’ve always had a knack for Macro and Micro-analysis—taking out the magnifying glass to find strategic ways to be more effective and excellent. After my time as a poster boy, I joined the supermarket staff and learned the business from the inside. To my surprise, the grocery industry is filled with complex logistics, from managing truckloads and stocking to ensuring safety, regulations, and protocol.
When many things are moving at once, it takes a specific mindset to see where time is being wasted and how to streamline processes. The goal is to save time, make work easier for employees, and, of course, save money. After my experience in the supermarket world, I took my talents to the MTA Access-A-Ride program as both a dispatcher and a driver, which involved managing constant movement and critical safety issues. I later returned to the grocery industry with Whole Foods before starting my own ventures in the moving and advertising sectors. Both required immense attention to logistics and streamlining processes for a safer, better work environment. All while being a Minister within the Christian Denomination.
In all, I have spent 26 years in the logistics world. In that time, I became an expert in four key areas:
Interestingly, I first went to school for Psychology and later fell in love with Neuroscience. I found myself naturally combining these fields for personal and professional growth. With this knowledge and a heightened level of observation, I now analyze, evaluate, and assess business procedures and practices. I do this with everyone's best interest at heart, from the CEO down to the janitorial team. For me, everyone is a vital component of the functioning organism that is a "business."
I like to take on the perspective of an "undercover boss," launching my observation and analysis from the bottom up. This approach allows me to collect genuine human intelligence and see how a company truly operates without anyone "putting on makeup" for management. It gives me the ability to see the unvarnished truth and solve problems that may be hidden deep within the company. I strategically uncover the who, what, where, and why of operations to understand what makes a company tick.
Are these policies manipulative? Do they use fear-mongering? Are they based on optimism? Is there coercion or a healthy incentive? Does a practice create undue stress for an employee? Is the exit process as positive as the hiring process? As an avid reader and a big advocate of "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People," it breaks my heart to see a business operate like a "slave ship" rather than a "safe haven" where everyone can grow. Sadly, that is not always the case, and that's why I am here. I assist logistics companies in excelling where they are lacking by applying a specialized skillset that reinforces and fortifies core areas like recruitment, training, and professionalism. If there's one thing I know, it's people. I have dedicated my life to comprehending temperaments, archetypes, characters, personalities, limitations, abilities and their correlation to the logistics world.
Currently, I am developing the perfect training framework to solve the problems that the Amazon DSP network is facing—a problem I am all too familiar with and one I have learned to solve through trial and error. I do respect what technology and data driven software has done for Amazon, but I fear that in its rapid expansion, it has started to lose sight of simple, basic, and important core values that can only be found within the human heart.
There is only so much that artificial intelligence, videos, KPIs, and metrics can do. The ability to teach effectively so that the knowledge sticks, the ability to transfer skills so they are multiplied, the ability to turn regular workers into dedicated professionals, and the ability to forge strong work cultures with powerful work ethics—these are things only a true, compassionate leader can inspire. Possessing these abilities is a gift that cannot be bought. No university degree can grant this skillset because it is forged by a tool outside the confines of school: learned experience.
